Accounting Fixed Asset Form Guide A full-screen form that registers a fixed asset with only four required inputs — name, account, acquisition cost, payment location — or renames an existing asset.
How to do it 1 Enter via the "Add asset" button at the bottom of the Fixed Assets list. Editing opens from "Edit asset" in the asset detail sheet. 2 Tap the four required rows in turn: name, account, acquisition cost, and payment (the cash location the money left from). 3 In the preview hero, see the yearly depreciation and the year it finishes, calculated automatically as you type. 4 Change the depreciation period (default 3 years) and salvage value (default 10% of cost) only if you need to. 5 Tap "Create asset" at the bottom — the acquisition journal entry is recorded automatically too. If the button is disabled, the hint above it says what is missing. A preview of this screen is coming soon.
