Import Your Product List into Storebase
Start with your existing product list. Review the Excel field mapping and imported records before your team begins daily work.
Prepare a focused file
The current import flow reads the first worksheet of an .xlsx file. Keep a backup of the original export. Choose the appropriate product type and check product names, identifiers, prices and stock values. A product list is a different migration task from historical accounts or transactions.
You review the mapping
The mapping step proposes which columns belong to product fields. Review the header row, ignored columns and numeric values before confirming. Mapping can be wrong. The confirmation step writes the approved data into the selected company and store.
Check the result before expanding
Sign in and complete company and store setup to use the import flow. Inspect the result summary and resolve any errors. Compare a few representative items and opening stock with your source records before your team begins daily work.
