Export and preserve your item library
Square’s official guidance supports Excel and CSV item files. Keep an untouched export as your reference. For Storebase’s current product import flow, prepare an .xlsx file and review the first worksheet. Pay attention to item identifiers and leading zeros.
Check each field before confirming
Match the product name, price and stock columns to the intended Storebase fields. Review variants, units and any ignored columns. File mapping is a setup aid; it does not establish ongoing synchronization of Square sales, payments, modifiers or inventory.
Plan how daily records will stay current
